OUR VALUES

My name is Douglas Cao, and I have a degree in architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My passion for design and creativity drives me to explore graphic art and create bold designs. Coming from a Vietnamese background, I have been actively involved in the vibrant Vietnamese community in Charlotte, North Carolina. My experiences within this community have provided me with a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. Through my work, I strive to incorporate elements of my heritage into my designs, blending traditional Vietnamese aesthetics with contemporary styles. I am excited to share my artistic journey and work together to create something we can all be proud of!

Phat Huynh

Hello, my name is Phat Huynh and I am originally from Vietnam. I moved to this country in 2009 and have since made it my home. I hold a degree in architecture from NC State University. In addition to my architectural pursuits, I have a deep love for watercolor and creating in general. There is something incredibly therapeutic about watercolor and bringing my imagination to life. Through my artwork, I strive to convey emotions and tell stories. I like to incorporate Vietnamese influences in my creations when I put that brush to the surface. I am delighted to have the opportunity to share my journey and creative endeavors with you through working together. I hope we can work together soon!

Meet the Designers

How MOO’D came to be was by using a cow as our "mascot." "Cow" is how Douglas's last name is pronounced, and Phat was also born in the year of the Ox - part of the cow family. MOO’D is also a play on words, combining the sound a cow makes, "moo", with the word "mood" in "mood board" which is used to create a vision and goal for yourself. Moo'd as a brand is a way of saying our designs will put you in a great mood after seeing how well we can help brand your business or other endeavors!

Because we have a lot of Vietnamese influences in our everyday life, we are passionate about serving the Vietnamese community and bringing a unique perspective to design that reflects the rich heritage and values of the community.
